Self-exclusion and account controls at casinos not on GamStop

Since 19 January 2026, bonuses at licensed casinos can carry wagering requirements of no more than 10 times, and promotions that require players to mix different gambling products are banned. At UKGC-licensed casinos, wagering requirements on bonuses have been capped at 10 times since 19 January 2026, and offers that require you to combine different types of gambling, such as betting and slots, are banned. Live games often count little or nothing towards bonus wagering, which is why a slots-only package like Smash Casino’s is of limited use to live players. Mobile casino games, covering both slots and live tables, are broadly expected as standard at modern online casinos, though device-specific compatibility for each operator was not independently confirmed for this comparison. These gambling sites offer great bonuses and popular UK slots games. Importantly, these casino operators are more likely to offer no deposit bonuses too which are rarer at Gamstop UK casinos.

This is a meaningful limitation compared to GAMSTOP, which blocks new registrations across the entire UKGC-licensed market at once. Cash-out, letting a bettor settle a bet early for a partial return before the event ends, is a feature offered by some sportsbooks rather than a universal standard. Common bet types include straight singles, accumulators combining multiple selections into one bet, and bet builders that let a player combine several markets within a single match into one wager. Where a sportsbook does exist alongside the casino, it typically shares the same account and wallet, meaning casino and sports balances draw from a single pool of funds rather than separate ones.

Taking part is a condition of a UKGC remote licence, which is why every mainstream British-licensed brand is connected to it. For slot players, the 600% match and €10,000 cap put Smash among the most generous packages here, close to Dieselwin’s scale. If you mainly play slots, that structure may give you little value. Instead of a slot wagering multiple, the bonus is typically released in stages as you generate rake at the tables. What counts is the match rate on that first deposit and the wagering attached, and both should be checked in the terms.
